Trouble scanning? Tips
Hold both phones steady, about 4-8 inches apart, with the QR filling most of the box. Dim the other phone's screen if it's glary; bump it up if it's too dark. The scan usually fires within a second if the lighting is OK.
If nothing happens after tapping Start camera: the browser needs permission. On iPhone, check Settings → Safari → Camera. On Android Chrome, long-press the lock icon in the address bar to unblock the site.
What happens when a ticket is scanned?
- VALID means the QR is fresh (within 30 seconds), belongs to a real ticket, and hasn't been used. Tap Confirm Entry to admit the holder.
- Confirm Entry flips the ticket to PENDING and burns that specific QR code so the same one can't be scanned again.
- The holder's wallet broadcasts a burn transaction on DigiByte. A background watcher flips the ticket to REDEEMED forever.
